RIVEROAK's Culinary program focuses on the technique and science of cooking, menu and kitchen management, and presentation and service.

As of the 2026-2027 school year, all applications must have transcripts, whether GED, high school or private school/homeschool.

Required documents to complete application process:

 Completed application

 High school transcripts (must have graduation date) or GED transcripts

 Basic Skills Exemption Form (CASAS testing required if you do not meet exemption)

 Copy of driver’s license or state ID

 Copy of second proof of residency

Examples: voters registration card, car registration, bank statement or parents ID (if under 24 years of age)

 Copy of social security card

 $50 application fee

We want to thank our guest speaker Quinn Skierski from ProActive Investments, Inc. for coming to speak with our Electricity program students

Students in the Advanced Manufacturing program are gaining valuable hands-on experience that goes beyond the classroom. Through a combination of classroom instruction and practical training, students are working with industry-standard electrical, pneumatic, and industrial control equipment to develop the skills needed for today’s manufacturing workforce.

Yesterday, RIVEROAK hosted a Manufacturing and Production Roundtable Discussion with State Senator Corey Simon and other state and local elected officials.

The roundtable brought together elected officials, manufacturing and production leaders, education leaders, and workforce partners to discuss industry needs and challenges, while exploring opportunities to strengthen workforce development throughout our region.

Following the discussion, RIVEROAK welcomed the Suwannee County Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating our new Nursing Facility!

This new facility represents another important investment in the future of healthcare education and workforce development in our community.

Thank you to all of the industry partners, elected officials, educators, community leaders, and guests who joined us on such a momentous day at RIVEROAK.

And a special shoutout to our Professional Culinary Arts and Hospitality program for preparing a delicious spread and refreshments for everyone in attendance!

Students in RIVEROAK’s Practical Nursing program recently completed Basic Life Support (BLS) training!

Hands-on training like this helps prepare our future healthcare professionals to respond confidently in emergency situations and provide critical care when it matters most.

Another important skill added to their growing healthcare toolkit!
