Topping Out Ceremony at RIVEROAK Technical College!

RIVEROAK Technical College and the Suwannee County School District, in partnership with Scorpio, celebrated the Topping Out of the new nursing addition yesterday afternoon. This milestone marks an exciting step forward as we expand our nursing facilities.

We were proud to host this event and share a first look at the progress being made on this important addition to our campus.

RIVEROAK was honored today to give a tour of our college to City of Live Oak Mayor Frank Davis and Egyptian Ambassador Dr. Hamdi Saleh.

RIVEROAK is on the road again! This time at James Madison Preparatory High School’s College and Career Fair!

Congratulations to this week's Student Spotlight, Erik Aguilar Batista! His Electrical instructor, Jeremy Ulmer, shared why he is an outstanding student: "Erik is a very motivated student and is working as an intern for A-1 Florida Electrical Contractor. He is excelling in my course and will make a great electrician." When asked why he chose RIVEROAK's Electricity program, Erik said, "I chose RIVEROAK because of its convenience and because I heard great things about it from past students. I am not only able to learn to be an electrician's helper but also to learn residential and commercial tasks. I feel its perfect for me since I want to work in something that involves math, science, and working with my hands." In his spare time, Erik enjoys weightlifting and cardio. Upon graduation, Erik wants to work as a residential electrician and work his way up.
