In observance of Suwannee High School's Homecoming Parade, Friday, October 18, 2024, will be an early release day for all Live Oak schools. We hope everyone enjoys the parade at 3:00 p.m., as well as other homecoming festivities throughout the week. Be safe, and go Dogs!

21st Century and Reading Program will be closing early on Wednesday, September 25th. We will be closing at 4:00 p.m.

Superintendent Ted Roush has announced that as of the date and time of this notice, the Suwannee County School District, working closely with local emergency management, consultation with the Florida Department of Emergency Management, and the National Weather Service, has made the decision to close school operations for Thursday, September 26, through Friday, September 27. There will be no before or after-school activities, including athletic events or practices, during this period of closure. The Suwannee County School District will resume regular operations on Monday, September 30, for the already scheduled Professional Development Day, weather and utility conditions permitting. Students will return as scheduled on Tuesday, October 1. Any changes to this plan of action will be communicated by 5:00 P.M. on Sunday afternoon, September 29, through the District's website, social media, local, and regional television and radio broadcasts.

Join us for the Back to School Bash! Dates range from August 5-9, with specified "Meet Your Teacher" times being announced soon. Each backpack includes a variety of supplies to help students of all ages.

The Wellness Clinic will be temporarily closing due to construction starting June 17, 2024, for a period of five weeks. This closure is essential as we undergo much-needed renovations aimed at enhancing the functionality and overall patient experience within the clinic. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that these improvements will greatly benefit all who seek our services. Please stay tuned for updates on our grand reopening, expected toward the end of July. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back to an even better Wellness Clinic soon. The Suwannee County School District is excited to offer a summer feeding program! The program is available to anyone under the age of 18. Open Site: Suwannee High School. Breakfast runs from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Lunch is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Other sites (Branford Elementary, Suwannee Middle, Pineview Elementary, Riverside Elementary, Springcrest Elementary and the Suwannee River Regional Library) will offer breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Every Thursday, except July 4th, meals can be picked up between 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Suwannee High and Branford Elementary.
