Students in Mr. Bresk's Engineering Class simulated being an air traffic controller on October 19, 2017.
Students are doing this on the NASA Sector 33 application.
According to the NASA website, All flights going to San Francisco airport pass through “Sector 33”.
As the lead air traffic controller, the students' job is to guide the planes safely through Sector 33 as quickly as possible. To do this, they must choose the most efficient route and make strategic speed changes.
